Welcome to our Facebook page. Christ the King Parish started in 1935 and has been a thriving community of the faithful ever since. We have a traditionally designed church, a pre-kindergarten to eighth-grade school, a religious education program for children, Eucharistic celebrations every day, and spiritual, educational and social gatherings for all ages. Christ the King Church was the first to televise a Roman Catholic Mass and the first to webcast one. It was one of the first Catholic communities to form in the growing suburbs of Southwestern New Jersey. We invite you to check us out on Facebook and on our website and to visit us in person today and many more times. Pastor - Reverend James T. Dever, OSFS In residence - Reverend David J. Have you noticed more light in your lives lately? One possible cause of this light could be that on February 2, several families came together to celebrate Candlemas! We had an engaging event to celebrate the feast of the Presentation of the Lord and Jesus as our light in the world. We enjoyed prayer and a blessing of candles, led by teens from our God Squad Youth Ministry; pancakes, a traditional food served on Candlemas; a scavenger hunt for puzzle pieces for the children; an activity on letting our light shine for the teens; and a conversation about the gift of light in our lives and in our scriptures for adults. Thanks to all of those who came out to celebrate Candlemas and to all of those who generously gave of their time and talent!

Saints By Our Side Twinkling lights, fall leaves, flowering mums, little pumpkins, and pictures of saints decorated Morgan Hall on Saturday, October 21 as parishioners came together to celebrate and learn more about the saints. Gathering together to share a meal, we enjoyed delicious salad, baked ziti, and desserts as well as gathering more knowledge about saints through pictures and sharing. For our dessert entertainment, members of our God Squad acted out the lives of St. Therese and Blessed Luigi and Blessed Maria through mock interviews, providing much laughter and joy to the audience. Following dinner, we continued our exploration in the lives of the saints with various activities. Children enjoyed rolling out dough and creating symbols of saints to be hung on their Christmas Trees. At other stations, parishioners were found exploring their own patron saints and playing guessing and matching games, all the while enjoying fellowship with one another. We ended our night with prayer, asking the communion of saints to pray with us as we go about our daily lives, strengthening us to be able to follow God’s will. Thanks to all of those who helped create such a beautiful night at Saints By Our Side!
Saints By Our Side was an evening Fun and Information for All Ages! Everyone gathered after the 5pm Mass in MORGAN HALL The evening included a Pasta Dinner, Games, Saints Encounters, Raffle Prizes and Crafts. As you can see from the photos, a good time was had by all in attendance!
